1st Team Coach needed

Coaching Opportunity
Role – 1st Team Coach
When – 2018 season and potentially beyond.

Club Description

Alford & District Cricket Club are based on the east coast of Lincolnshire. We currently run 3 senior men’s teams, a women’s side and a full compliment of junior sides from U11s through to U15s. The men’s 1st team currently compete in the Lincolnshire ECB Premier League, while our other men’s sides compete in the Lincolnshire League and East Lindsey League.

We are a forward thinking club, and are looking to build upon our first year in the Lincolnshire ECB Premier League, adding quality coaching, preparation and where required, recruitment.

Our playing facilities include a 12 pitch turf square, cricket specific pavilion, mobile covers, new sight screens, electronic scoreboard, 2 lane artificial practice nets and bola bowling machine.

Role Description

We are hoping to appoint a 1st team head coach for the 2018 season, including the preparations for. Desirably we would like the applicant to be qualified to UKCC Level 2 minimum.

The role will include preparing the squad for the 2018 season through indoor sessions running from the start of February, heading up training throughout the season, and also preparing the team on matchdays. We’d like the coach to offer any guidance they can to all senior members where possible. The possibility also exists for the coach to play for the 1st team and, as such, the cricketing ability to play at ECB Premier League standard would be preferred. This does not rule out the possibility of a non-playing coach.

How to apply

Applicants should express an interest by messaging our Facebook or Twitter pages, or alternatively by emailing Andrew White on andrew_white_90@hotmail.co.uk

We don’t have a strict closing date for applicants, but we are looking to have the position filled before pre season commences in early 2018.
