Due to the success of the 6 week coaching programme recently held in Lincoln, we are pleased to announce that we will be running a further programme in Sleaford for players who are hardball competent commencing on Saturday 25th January for 6 weeks. This programme will provide the opportunity for young cricketers to receive additional, specialist coaching to aid a player’s progress and to train in a specialist environment, to improve and develop their game.
The course will be run by Lincolnshire County coaches and will include small group sessions, two-to-one & one-to-one coaching.
It will focus on developing a player’s skills in all three disciplines of the game – batting, bowling & fielding – as well as a player’s mental approach to the game and understanding of tactics.
We intend to run two sessions on a Saturday. The course details are as follows:
U10-U12 Boys & U11-U13 Girls from 3pm to 4.30pm
U13-U15 Boys & U15-U17 Girls from 4.30pm to 6pm
Saturday 25th January 2020
Saturday 1st, 8th, 15th & 29th February 2020
Saturday 7th March 2020
(Please note there is no session on 22nd February due to Half Term)
Northgate Sports Hall, Millfield Terrace, Sleaford. NG34 7AD
There are only 12 places available on each of the courses, so they will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Your child will need to bring all their equipment for hardball cricket and wear suitable footwear for indoor practice. Please also remember to bring a drink to each session.
As this course involve specialist coaching and one-to-one coaching, the cost per player is £110 for the six weeks.
At the end of the programme, we will also compile a progress report for each player, which details strengths, weaknesses and what the player should continue to work on in his club environment.
