Would you like to be part of Lincolnshire Cricket? We are seeking a new General Manager to join our team.

Lincolnshire Cricket is seeking to appoint a General Manager to work closely with our Cricket Delivery Managers offering cricket to young players across the county. The successful person will manage overall responsibility for commercial and administration activities and report to the Board of Directors. You will work alongside our two Senior Officers who are dedicated to managing the sporting offering across schools, clubs and organisations in Lincolnshire.

Whilst an interest and understanding of cricket and sport in general would be an advantage is not critical to the position. We are looking for an energetic, proactive person who can drive the growth of the sport across Lincolnshire and liaise with national cricketing and sponsorship organisations.

You will need to hold a full driver’s licence and be able to work from our office in Lincoln as well as travel within Lincolnshire and beyond as required.


Responsibilities and Duties

The ideal candidate will join our active team and will drive Lincolnshire Cricket forward and should:

Have experience in delivering activities within an agreed annual budget and creating forecasts.

Oversee general staff activities and workloads? Planning and prioritising internal workloads.

Support cricket initiatives designed and delivered by our senior officers and assist them in winning funding.

Work closely with our Office Manager and Administration staff for day to day activities and to reach and exceed our seasonal and annual goals.

Report directly to the Board of Lincolnshire Cricket

A natural communicator who will take ownership of Lincolnshire Cricket’s marketing plans and promoting the sport across a wide range of media? Be happy to speak on the radio, on a blog or on TV as well as with the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB)

Imagination to build sustainable and strong partnerships with key sponsors in both public and private sectors?

Salary: £28,000.00 /year
